Help make the difference

Would you like to play a key role in a thriving company that helps big name customers create better experiences through technology?

As an IT Helpdesk Support Agent at doetaylor you’ll be part of a highly successful global team that designs, builds and installs IT systems for the likes of Dishoom, Big Mamma Group and Coppa Club. These clients will be depending on you to make sure their IT is always on and delivering to its full potential

In this role you’ll be working closely with our clients to deal with any challenges they face. You’ll know from experience that when IT goes wrong it can be hugely stressful for those who rely on it and you’ll deliver a service that is calming, helpful and delivered in a language everyone can understand.

Every day is different and there will be plenty to keep you interested and help you grow your own skills and experience. Duties include:

  • Providing remote 1st and 2nd line customer IT support over a number of channels including phone, email, text, chat and video.

  • Recording events, issues and questions via a ticketing portal, updating clients in a timely manner and following tickets through to resolution.

  • Troubleshooting hardware including servers, desktops, laptops and network equipment.

  • Using our monitoring software to respond to identified issues ensuring maximum uptime.

  • Helping us develop “self-healing” technologies.

  • Protecting our clients through your  security awareness including familiarity with Antivirus/Internet Security Software.

  • Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting VoIP phone systems.

  • On-site visits time-to-time to diagnose issues beyond the point of remote support.

Your attitude is hugely important but, of course, we need technical skills as well and some of the technologies you’ll be dealing with include:

  • Meraki Cloud managed wifi networks.

  • Switches, routers, firewalls, CCTV.

  • Cloud hosted VoIP and onsite phone systems.

  • Windows based PC and laptops.

  • Windows Server and Active Directory.

  • Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • GSuite.

  • Mac OS X.

  • Cloud deployed anti-virus software.

  • iPhone and Android phones.

  • Audio/Video Systems.

This is a great opportunity to work with a leading IT provider in a team where talent is rewarded and the opportunities to move forward in your career are always present. The role is primarily home-based with occasional visits to our London office and customer sites.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
